This is my 8th air cooled 911 in the last 12 years and out of them all (’72T, ‘73E, ‘79SC, ’87 930, two ’87 G50’s, ’97 993), my absolute favorite. I purchased a year ago not expecting to buy, but after driving this 964 I realized it was so well sorted, balanced and setup exactly how I would any 964 (not to mention in a color combo I had always loved), I simply couldn’t pass it up. It has the tasteful engine/suspension/transmission preferred upgrades, without going full-blown non-OEM, weekend warrior wanna-be racer I’m personally not a fan of. It has been perfectly upgraded to enhance its performance and drivability while preserving its original character. This C2 looks stock (aside from lower ride height) but drives and handles even better than day one from factory specs. Its stunning color combination, impeccable maintenance, and tasteful modification, not to mention it's accident free, SoCal history, make it a standout example in the ever-shrinking world of clean, dry, unmolested, original C2 964 coupes.

I’ve experienced a handful of C2 & C4 964’s over the years and while I’ll never run-down a C4, to me, I can feel the difference of the C2 and very much prefer them for their nimble feedback and quicker responses to inputs (not to mention the looser tail if you push it hard coming out of corners). If I were using my 964 daily and often encountered wet road conditions, I wouldn’t pass up a C4. But seeing as I only drive my classics in dry, sunny weather, there was no question my 964 had to be a C2. If those C2 vs C4 differences don’t matter to you, then save some money and find a quality C4. Just please don’t contact me expecting I will part with my beloved C2 at a C4 price.

I have used it for weekend kid sporting event commutes and PCH drives. I’m now listing as (once again) I’ve acquired too many “toys”; the wife is getting annoyed with the number of vehicles around the home and we are (once again) going over budget on a house remodeling project. To keep the peace, I’m listing this exceptional C2 coupe knowing full well it will be (once again) another one I let go that I’ll quickly wish I kept long-term. The following is the tasteful upgrades performed on this C2 in the last three years:

SUSPENSION:

· Bilstein PSS10 coilovers

· Eibach adjustable sway bars

· Elephant Racing 964 spring plate moonball cartridge set

· Tarrett Engineering bumpsteer correction kit (not installed, included)

BRAKES:

· Goodridge G-Stop stainless steel brake lines

· Zimmerman rotors paired with Hawk 5.0 brake pads

· Motul 660 brake fluid

WHEELS & TIRES:

· Factory Cup 1 wheels in mint condition (per options sticker, code 403). Yes, this C2 left the factory with rare Cup 1 wheels as an option.

· New Falken RT660 tires

· Rennline wheel spacers (15mm front, 20mm rear)

· Rennline wheel studs and lug nuts

ENGINE:

· Autothority ECU chip for enhanced performance

· Eastover intake w/ K&N air filter

· Secondary muffler delete J-pipe for richer exhaust tone (yet not too loud)

· New 50mph rear-wing motor (it worked intermittently when I purchased, so a new motor was installed less than 200 miles ago). Rear wing now operates flawlessly.

TRANSMISSION:

· FD Motorsports short shifter w/ GOLDEN ROD…best shifting air-cooled 911 I’ve ever experienced

· New shifter bushings

· New clutch master/slave cylinder

· Redline transmission & differential fluids

INTERIOR ENHANCEMENTS:

· Porsche Classic Navigation System (Apple Carplay, Bluetooth handsfree calling, etc) and upgraded speakers

VEHICLE HISTORY (per Carfax):

12/2006 – 12/2024: 5th Owner (Rancho Santa Margarita, CA) 40,361 – 52,185 miles

12/2024 – Present: Current Owner (Huntington Beach, CA) currently showing 55,700 miles

I purchased the vehicle in Oct of 2024 under my Montana LLC, so current plates/registration/Carfax shows MT, but vehicle has never left SoCal. Additionally, vehicle has never failed a CA smog and I have no reason to believe it will not pass. I did not smog the car when purchased knowing I was going to register it in MT, but all smog equipment is in place. The only modification to system is the elimination of the 2nd muffler which doesn’t affect smog system, only provides a slightly deeper, rich exhaust tone, in additional to the K&N air filter.
