Hello and welcome. Thanks for looking. It's time to sell my 1973 Porsche 914 outlaw - custom.I purchased the car from its original owner, 2011. As a barn find, I started its restoration in 2012 and had it roadworthy and looking smart by 2017. It has been an ongoing project of love and delight since then. Throughout its life, it has always been garage-kept.These are the additions, changes and modifications from 2012-2017.THE CARVin. 4732801741Mileage. 93403Full restoration of the frame pan inner structure (the body was completely intact).Full interior rebuild - door card seats, console center gauges added.Install OEM factory sway bars, front and rear. Install front strut brace.New brakes, rotors, braided brakelines and rebuilt calipers.Relocated battery to front trunk.Added booster fan for heat and cooling.Install euro lighting front and rear.Shaved and relocated front side marker lights.Install chrome bumpers - front and rear with overriders.Install halo HID headlights.Front air dam.Side skirts.Rear whale tale spoiler.Sunroof.THE ENGINEOrig.to car.Full rebuild on the then 1.7 liter engine to bring it up to 2.0 literBig bore kitMild street camBalanced all rotating parts.Added dual 40mm weber's.Add the crankcase breather assembly.New master cylinder with brace.Full custom dual exhaust handmade.SYSTEMSPush button start.Fuel pump cutoff switch.Trunk button, delete added trunk, release switch and engine compartment.Electric windshield washer system.Factory 5.5 x 15 steel wheels powder coated, new tires.Stereo with security faceplate.That was then. This is now – 2025 updates:Replace the entire clutch system. Disk pressure plate release bearing and pivots.New speedometer cable.New starter w/ solenoid assist.Reseal the entire exhaust system.Replace all shift rod bushings and cups front to rear.Shifter coupling bushings.New tires.Full fluid replacement engine w/filter, trans.Tune up.This begs the question, is there anything wrong with this car?Sure.As you would expect in a decade, old restoration.A few cosmetic things. Chips and dulling paint.Electrical.Ghost in the dash... flasher feedback.There is an issue with the emergency brake holding. Everything is there. Looking at an adjustment.As the car's new owner, i'm sure you will find things to keep you busy as you make it your own.I'm letting the car go due to health concerns that won't allow me to drive it as regularly as it deserves.This car comes with a clean Pennsylvania title and was registered there as an antique.It has awards from several car shows over the years, including Deutsche Fest, PA; LCBC Motorsports Show, PA; Robesonia Car Show, PA; VW Porsche Cruise and Show, AZ: and Cruise Nights, MA.There's easily been an investment of 40k plus in this car.
