He purchased it with front bumper damage and did all of the work/maintenance/repairs. Back then these cars weren't worth much, so it didn't take a lot to grant a salvage title.There are a lot of scratches/scuffs/patina, but it shows well enough overall for being 36 years old.The car had an old custom exhaust with a Borla muffler and no catalytic converter. It was way too loud, so I had a nice 3 T304 stainless exhaust fabricated. It drives very tight and feels unlike any other car on the road today, from the bank vault crunch of the door closing to the substantial mechanical shifter feel and land yacht steering.The manual S4s are super rare with < 1,000 in the US.
