Vehicle Description
1987 Porsche 944 Turbo 5 SPD with approx 138-140k miles. The car runs and drives great. It does need some cosmetic TLC, but other wise a great car that I really loved to drive. Funds are needed for an other project, such as a 4x4 truck.Paint is in 8/10 condition. Has a couple nicks here and there, but as shown in pics, it shines pretty well.The windshield has a small crack. I've driven it like this for years and has it never bothered me. It could use new front window seals as they are a bit dry. All exterior lights and blinkers work just fine. Head lights go up and down just fine.Interior is also 8/10. Has a couple dash cracks and needs new leather shift boot. Carpet, seats, steering wheel, and liners are in great shape. Top comes on and off just fine. Windows roll up and down fine. Has an aftermarket Blaupunkt radio system, but I do have the original radio and will include it. Has original spare tire and compressor. Has never been in an accident or flood and will provide Carfax for that. Tires are only few hundred miles old.Belts and water pump were replaced about 6 years ago, but it only has been driven no more than 2 or 3K miles since then. AC does not work. All the AC components are there and may just need a new compressor. This has never been an issue for me since I usually only drive it with the top off and windows down :-) Has a new fuel pump upgraded relay. New coolant and fresh oil, fresh spark plugs, cap and rotor, fresh K&N air filter. The speedometer broke at 13300 miles a couple years ago and should be at about 13800 or less. This is a running car that starts, runs, and shifts fine. It does however, sit for long periods of time as it is not my daily driver and its only driven during the spring and summer. I highly recommend a thorough check up before attempting to make this a daily driver. If you a re the lucky winner of this car and come from a distance, I recommend bringing a trailer.I'm getting older and my driving interests have changed. My reason for selling is that I would prefer an 4x4 FJ cruiser and I also have a Panamera that doesn't get enough driving time and might be selling that too. I am a 55 year old guy that has driven this car with love and has not been abused or driven hard. Any one willing to trade a Toyota FJ cruiser, we can talk. The car is located in Holly Springs NC.
