For sale is this 1967 911S soft window targa. This a very original car that was lightly restored in the late 90s and then became part of a collection of early 911S cars that belonged to a friend of mine. It was bought by us in 2013. Since acquiring the car it has seen weekly use and has been driven on a few road trips. Currently the odometer reads just short of 74000 miles and I am certain that is the total mileage of the car since new. This car has never been in an accident, nor has it ever suffered from corrosion. All of the metal in this car is 100% original and so is the interior aside from the carpet. It was repainted during it's restoration and the paint is very good but it is not concours. there are a few small chips that we have had professionally touched up, but it presents itself very very well.Since having the car, we have restored the targa top, installed a new back window and top boot, completely rebuilt the brakes and had the original Fuchs wheels restored along with sundry other small things. Everything on this car functions as it should with the exception of the radio. The engine starts easily (hot or cold) the transmission shifts smooth etc... This is about as nice a car as you'd want to have and not be terrified to drive it. The numbers match on both the engine and the transmission and anything that we removed and replaced, we kept the original parts. (sunvisors, door sill trim etc...)
