Vehicle Description

I am selling my 1970 911T "turbo look". This car started as a non-sunroof 1970 911 T now in Mexico Blue paint - Karmann built car that was converted back in the 1980's to a hot rod wide body turbo look with all factory Porsche steel parts. It was a well-executed build and the panels and gaps are pretty good. As was the case in the 80's, so many early long hoods were "updated" and hot-rodded to the later body style with wide fenders and updated bumpers and whale tails. Now, it probably would be better to return to original and back date to original, or a version of an of the time such as an ST, RS, or RSR. There is "patina" on the Mexico blue paint not visible in all the pictures (this is code for the paint is wearing), but paint still looks great as you can see in photos and the fading and wearing clear coat adds to the business aspect of the car. The motor was upgraded to a later 1973 S 2.4 engine and Weber carbs were added as well for improved fuel and air intake and sport exhaust to help the outbound flow. A leakdown test has been recently performed and this motor had great compression. The car sounds great...The motor runs strong. Carbs just were gone through at great expense. A 915 5 spd transmission was also added to handle the additional power. This Porsche will come with 8 and 9" FUCHS wheels very valuable these days. It will also come with the tan standard seats seen in photos, although I have access to later Porsche factory sport seats if you are inclined (will include at Buy It Now). Brakes and suspension are good although car's alignment and specs will need addressing. The car has two minor areas of rust that can be seen, one at the base of the passenger side window, the other small spots on the bottom of the drivers door. Both look easily addressed. There have also been prior rust repairs on the floor with straight steel panel replacement instead of using Porsche stamped type steel. A 911 S motor in this excellent condition like this is worth $$ but this is a great base for an RS spec motor as well. This Porsche can be driven and enjoyed as is, or get it dialed in with body repairs etc...and have a great investment. I am selling this car as is where is, and will make it available for inspections. This is a fast-running fun Porsche hot rod for a reasonable price. I am in Los Angeles area. This Porsche comes with a clear CA title in my name and a Porsche certificate of authenticity. Please email me with any questions at all. Happy Bidding!
