This is one clean 1966 GTO! Looking down both sides it is straight. It looks amazing in its factory color Burgundy code N. The paint has a smooth and glossy finish. All of the stainless trim has been polished or replaced. The front and rear bumpers have been rechromed. It sits on a set of original Rally 1 wheels with a set of BFG T/A radial tires.
The engine bay is nice and tidy with a completely rebuilt date coded correct 389 ci engine that has a few performance upgrades: HEI Pertronix Flame Thrower ignition, Edelbrock aluminum intake manifold with a Holley dual feed carburetor, chrome valve covers and a 4-core radiator. It also features a set of Ram Air manifolds and power steering.
The white interior is new from the headliner to the carpet. The color really pops up against the Burgundy exterior. There is a factory Hurst 4-speed shifter coming up through the factory console between the bucket seats. There are new door handles, armrest bases, sill plates and kick panels. Looking forward to the dash: the Rally gauges, tachometer and speedometer look good and operate correctly. The dash pad is nice, no cracks.
Looking up at the floors, it is all clean metal and appears to be original, no patch panels. The motor and Muncie transmission look clean as well. It has a Gear Vendor over drive system. It has a dual exhaust with Flowmaster mufflers and factory style tail pipes running out the back with correct trumpet exhaust tips. The E-brake assembly is complete and working.
The trunk is all clean metal, complete with trunk mat and spare tire with jack assembly. It has a light coat of spatter paint finish.
