Vehicle Description

1985 Pontiac Fiero SE V6 – Mostly Restored & Ready for a New Home!

This is my 1985 Fiero SE V6 – a great classic mid-engine car with a lot of time, work, and care put into it. I picked it up as a project a while back and got it running, looking, and driving again. The most recent work was a professional repaint, and after that I parked it in a garage before heading off to college. Now that I’ve graduated, I unfortunately need to let it go. I don't have the time to finish the last few things and can only keep one car – so I’m hoping it finds a new home with someone who’ll enjoy it as much as I intended to.

What’s Been Done:

This Fiero has had quite a bit of work done already, including:

  • Headlights repaired and fully functional

  • Washer fluid pump replaced

  • A/C system converted

  • New tires (installed before parking it)

  • New battery

  • New fuel injectors

  • Original factory radio reinstalled

  • New brakes

  • New bulbs all around

  • New locks

  • New fuel pump

  • Bumper repaired

  • Rims restored

  • Fresh professional paint job

Mechanically, it still runs and drives great, especially considering it's a nearly 40-year-old car.

The To-Do List – What Still Needs Love:

As with any project car, there are still a few small things left to finish:

  • One A/C panel button is missing

  • Seats need reupholstering (currently have black seat covers on)

  • Parking brake is currently disconnected

  • A/C needs one final part (my local shop didn’t have it at the time)

  • Fuel gauge doesn’t move (likely the floater got stuck during the new fuel pump install)

  • Driver-side interior door panel is slightly warped, so the top doesn’t sit flush in the channel

  • Brakes feel a bit spongy (may just need bleeding)

This Fiero is a great opportunity for someone looking for a nearly-finished classic project that already has a lot of the heavy lifting done. It's clean, straight, and turns heads. Just needs someone to give it those final touches and drive it like it was meant to be driven.

Clean title in hand.
