Vehicle Description

1984 Pontiac Fiero Indy Pace Car: Excellent Condition, Low Miles.Check out pics and video. This listing is for a 1984 Pontiac Fiero Indianapolis 500 Pace Car edition; this is one of the 2000 replicas made. I believe it is #1145 (I had a license plate painted up to commemorate; see pic). The car is 40 years old, and still in excellent condition with low miles (42,002).

  • Car is all original.
  • Immaculate is the best word to describe the exterior and interior. It truly still feels and looks like a new car! See pics. Body is straight, floors/undercarriage are solid. Interior and engine bays are super clean. No rust.
  • Mechanical and electrical working as expected. See video. Starts, idles, steers, brakes, and drives great; took it out in the yard recently. A little lifter tick.
The very worst parts of the car are (1) small paint chip near the driver's side headlight and (2) the "PONTIAC" window lettering is not perfect (despite the other decals and lettering being pristine). See pics. For A/C, compressor kicks on as expected, but air is only slightly cool; perhaps recharge is needed.I bought the car in 2013, and ended up driving it a few times, ultimately deciding that it was way too nice to be exposed to the Pennsylvania road elements, so it was garaged and hasn't been run on the road in 12 years. Ethanol free gasoline is the only gas used; start it up every few weeks. The owner before me garaged it too; he won some local car contests. Looking to sell it because I have other priorities now.Feel free to ask questions before bidding. I'm just a regular guy selling his collection; I'm not a store, so I don't offer any warranties or returns. Car currently has comp only coverage, so unable to test drive on the road. Car is 40 years old; sold AS IS.
