1985 Pontiac Firebird Coupe Black TRANS AM

Vehicle Description
1985 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am Knight Rider replica
Vehicle Details
1985 Pontiac Trans Am Knight Rider replica. Car started life as a dark blue and silver 85 Trans am with a 305 TPI motor. Car's exterior and interior have been backdated to a 1982 Trans am. Body is solid with no rust. Clean underside. Car was painted black around 2018. On a scale of 1 to 10 overall body and paint is a 7.5. Not a show quality trailer queen paint job, but a nice presentable paint job for a car to drive and have fun with. Has tan interior with correct PMD seats. 15 inch Turbocast wheels with original GM caps. Previous owner had the car since 2005. All work on the car to convert it to Knight Rider was done by previous owner. Previous owner stated he had problems with the tuned port injection set up so he had a 350 crate motor installed. The motor has an edelbrock intake and Holley carburetor. Full length headers with exhaust and catalytic converter removed. Previous owner stated the motor has less than 500 miles on it. I can't confirm that, however the motor feels strong and doesn't seem to smoke or use oil. Car runs, drives, stops, and seems to shift fine. Odometer currently reads a little over 24,328. Currently the speedometer isn't working. Car will need gone through and some work and carburetor tuning to be complete. Seems to run a little rich. Car has frame connectors welded in. New t top, door, and rear hatch weatherstrip installed. I purchased new exterior door handles, new matching lock and key set for doors and t tops that come with the car. Also included is an unfinished Knight Rider gullwing steering wheel. Purchased the car a couple months ago as a project to finish from previous owner, but due to unforseen circumstances that came up I don't have the extra funds or time to finish the car and need to sell. Hoping the car can go to someone that will finish it and make it a fully done Knight Rider replica.
