“For sale is a 1994 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am Hatchback Drag Car—a professionally built, streetable race machine that's ready to fly. Built by NBS Performance & Fabrication, this car features a freshly built 434 SBC with a Dart M block and 16-degree CNC ported Dart heads. It’s packed with premium internals, including an Eagle forged crank and rods, Jesel Pro Shaft rockers, ProSystem 1050 carb, and an MSD ignition system. On the dyno, it laid down 756 HP on motor, and with the included 250-shot nitrous kit (three bottles and all hardware), it's capable of boosting up to 1,000 HP. The car is equipped with a fresh Coan Racing TH400 transmission with Ultra-Bell, trans-brake, and a new Neal Chance 8" converter, all shifted via a Cheetah shifter with direct air shifting and module. The exhaust system features fabricated stainless steel headers (2” into 3.5” collectors) and comes with two complete exhaust setups. The chassis includes a certified chromoly cage (2023, to 7.50), Strange 9” rear with 35 spline axles, 5.13 gears, ARB suspension, and Strange adjustable struts and shocks. Braking is handled by Aerospace 4-piston calipers, and it rolls on Sanderson 10” single beadlocks with 315 drag radials. Additional equipment includes a Racepak UDX data logger, Magnafuel 500 pump, 16-volt alternator and battery, and a full lighting package with power windows, carpet, and a fiberglass hood. The paint is a sharp 9.5 out of 10, and despite its track pedigree, it has a clear title and can be street driven. With a scaled weight of just 2,959lbs (with fluids), this Firebird is a serious contender at the strip and a true head-turner wherever it goes.”
