Vehicle Description

My name, number and location is in with the pictures. If you want to be considered a potentially serious buyer, then it is best to call me.I don't want any misunderstandings and I prefer to talk to a buyer first to make sure they are not some type of scammer.

I purchased this car from the daughter of the owner that passed away in Arizona. She could not find any of the build documentation. The only information I have is what I was able to determine from my own inspection of this great car once I received it.

To start, I think the 44K miles is correct considering the overall condition. This car has all of the original sheet metal and floors. The paint, chrome, and the interior are also in great shape. Super solid car that drives like new, but with much more power.

It was originally a 3 speed on the column car. Radio and clock delete. It does have power steering now, but not sure it came with it.

It is now running a built 428 engine from a 1967 car with a manual transmission according to the codes. casting # is 9786136 and stamp code is 480724 WG. The trans is a 400 turbo with a shift kit and around a 2500 stahl converter. Rear end is a factory posi unit with about a 3:55 gear.

The engine has a very healthy sound with aluminum heads, intake, roller rockers, full tube headers into new 3" exhaust all the way out the back. It runs fine on premium pump fuel.

The tires are reproduction pie crust slicks on the back and pie crust front runners.

Still running the drum brakes all around and it stops great.

The lettering is all vinyl and just installed late last year, so it will come off very easily if desired. It has never been in the sun after it was applied.

I do have a super duty scoop in the trunk, painted to match the car, but I couldn't bring myself to drill holes in the perfect hood.

I also have 4 poverty hub caps and the clips to mount them on the factory wheels.

Lastly, and for $3000. more, I also have a very complete factory 4 speed set up for this car. Includes pedals, all linkages, bell housing, flywheel, clutch, ( 1969 M20 ) Muncie 4 speed transmission, floor shifter, starter, drive shaft, cross member, floor shifter tunnel, etc. It is out of a 1963 factory 4 speed car, but it should work on any Pontiac from 1962 to 1964. I do not want to sell this complete change over set up before the car sell. If the new owner does not want the setup, I will list the parts after the car is gone.

PLEASE CXALL ME WITH ANY QUESTIONS YOU MAY HAVE BEFORE YOU HIT THE BUY IT NOW OR MAKE ME AN OFFER. I DON'T WANT ANY MISUNDERSTANDINGS.

I DO NOT RESPOND TO PHONE TEXT MESSAGES. CALL IF YOU ARE SERIOUS.

NO TRADES OF ANY KIND.

Bank to bank wire transfers are great. Bank cashiers checks OK but they need to clear my bank before car leaves here. Cash in hand is another option. No other options are acceptable.
