1969 Firebird Project 400 4-speed

Vehicle Description
This 1969 Firebird has a Pontiac 400 motor out of a 1968 or 1969 GTO as well as a Muncie M20 4-speed and a 3.08 posi rear end. This car was originally Carousel Red. It runs great and will run off its' tank. It will go into gear and drives around the lot, but it currently does not have working brakes. This car has super solid frame rails, rockers, shock towers and a nice subframe. The Trans Am hood that is on it has a steel understructure with the fiberglass overlay. The trunk floor has some pitting, but no visual rot, and it is original. The floors have previously been patched, they are structurally sound. Quarters were skinned a long time ago; there is some rust in the inner wheelhouses, they would need to be patched or replaced. The sunroof has been riveted in and would need quite a bit of body work to finish if you wanted to go that route. The passenger fender has a dent and crack in the lower front. Overall, this car has a ton of potential and is very workable. This would be a perfect restoration project!
