This 1971 Pontiac Firebird is a modified vehicle with updates to the exterior and drivetrain. The owner has had it for 2 years. The vehicle runs great and is mainly used for weekend drives.

Vehicle Details

1971 Firebird Esprit/Formula recreation. This car was purchased as a award winning completely original survivor with 94,000 miles. It is a local Arlington, Virginia car that has never left Virginia. Its originally a 350 cu 2nbl car. I added the formula hood, rear spoiler and front air damn. Installed a period correct ram air 4bbl intake and 375hp cam with roller rockers and 4bbl performance carb. Then added a post track rear end but retained the 2:73 gear ratio. The car was a factory AC car with power steering but non power brakes. I added the power brakes. Added the tires and wheels but have the original Pontiac Ralleys. The AC works great. The only rust in the car is shown in the rear qtr pictures. The entire bottom of the car is rust free (flaking or holes some light surface only).
