1962 Pontiac Tempest Lemans 2dr Sdn.
This was an everyday driver until it was involved in a minor collision on the driver's side door in 2014. I purchased the car, replaced the left door with a rust free find from Arizona. I then repainted the whole car, installed new seat covers and door trim panels. All glass, trim, bumpers, and weather striping were removed for an overspray free base coat clear coat professional repaint. The rest of the car is original. Original exterior and interior colors. Original engine and transaxle. This is the model with the 1/2 of a V8 block 4 cylinder and rear mounted automatic transaxle, making weight distribution 50%-50% front to rear.
The shifter is a paddle, mounted on the dash. The parking brake had to work well since there was no Park gear. Advertised gas mileage was over 21mpg.
Mechanically it is good and it is ready to drive with a current Pennsylvania State Safety Inspection. It was sold to me as having actual miles on the odometer and I have no reason to doubt that, but you will be buying it as "Mileage Exempt".
The car is titled in Pennsylvania with a reconstructed brand.
