For your consideration is this recently restored 1965 Pontiac GTO Convertible . We restored this carto be an excellent, ust-freeGTO that is meant to be driven and enjoyed.
We purchased this car from Ebayas a partially restored car in 2012. Initially we had to have theengine rebuilt andended updoing a frame off cosmetic restoration that wascompleted in 2015.
During the restoration we tried to keep the car as original as possible and used as many OEM parts or reusethe original parts that were in very good condition from the car.
This PHS documented car originally came as a 4 speed Tripower convertible with a 3.55 safe t-track posi rear and optional rally gauge package.Original color was Mayfair Maze with the black interior and a black top based on the PHS documentation.

New and improved items done include:

Restoredrust-free powder coated frame

Eye-catching “Deep Black” basecoat/clear coat paint job

Recently installedblack convertible top, ower top works well.

Black interior and carpet- These were done before we purchased GTO, arpet has some fade to it but very presentable.

Rebuilt 1965 period correct 389 V8 engine with less than 2500 miles on rebuild- Original mileage unknown

New 4-speed M-20 transmission from Auto Gear Company - Less than 300 miles on it

New Hurst 4- speed shifter

New power front disc brakes

Rebuilt Tripower carburetors with new linkage and fuel lines

New shocks and springs

New Crager GT aluminum mag wheels

New 2 ½ inch diameter aluminized exhaust with Flowmaster mufflers with splitter exhaust tips

Recent B F Goodrich Radial TA tires

Rechromed front and rear bumpers with new emblems

New 4 row high efficiency radiator

New high torque starter

New Diehard battery

New taillight wiring harness

Everything works except temperature guage, dometer may be off and a small size chip in top edgeof passenger window. The chip is not sharp so we did notreplace it as the car appers to have the original glass in it.

WE HAVE PICTURES AND RECEIPTS OF THE RESTORATION THAT WILL GO WITH THE NEW OWNERS.
