Vehicle Description

1966 Hemi Tribute

Vehicle Details

Would you like to have the only one at your next car show? Chrysler produced exactly 4 of these cars. When this came from the factory, it was born with a 383 4 speed. There were 99 of those cars. This car already has the heavy duty torque boxes from the factory and the fender tag matches everything except the 426. There are 250 miles on the car since rebuild, that mileage will go up slightly but not a lot. Underneath is a QA one tubular front end for more stability. The rear end is a 355 Auburn gear posi with Timken bearings made in USA and brand new Doctor diff axles. The 23 spline 4 speed was also rebuilt at the same time, And a new Center force clutch was installed.

The engine was rebuilt with 10 1/2 to one JE pistons, eagle crank with Scat H beam rods A Comp Cams solid lifter cam, and all internal fasteners are ARP. The original tag was on the engine when I pulled it out as I had low compression in two cylinders. This is an aftermarket block believed to be a mega block from Summit racing. Lifter bosses are huge. I took the hydraulic cam out and put the solid in because in 1966 you couldn’t get a hydraulic cam in a hemi. I Will include the hydraulic cam if you want it. I also installed aftermarket Edelbrock Aluminum heads. Also, it has one year hemi only wiring mounted on the driver fender well instead of behind the engine. All in all it’s a very nice tribute car that everything works on except the a.m. radio. However, the knobs and the bezel are present.

I prefer a down payment at time of purchase and wire transfer or cash within seven days.
