Vehicle Description

Available is my 1971 Plymouth Duster 340. This is a really cool car that was very well optioned from the factory. Cool bold look with the Lemon Twist exterior and black bucket seat interior, add the black stripes, sport mirrors, tuff wheel, and rallye wheels. It doesn't get much better than that.
The car is optioned with the 3.91 axle package which included power disk brakes, power steering with cooler, and obviously the sure grip, this car was built to scoot. The 3.91 has been swapped to a much milder 3.23 at some point. But it is still a sure grip.
The car also had an interior package which included the tuff wheel, deluxe door panels, console shifted torqueflight 727, and bucket seats. As it is a 340 car, it included the rallye dash with 150mph speedo and this car was optioned with factory tach.
The car is currently a registered and insured running/driving car that I drive regularly. The only issue that I am aware of is that it has an annoying exhaust leak. The 340 is not the numbers matching one and is a 69 or 70 with X heads. The engine starts and runs great. The trans doesn't seem to leak and also works as it should.
This is very cool car with loads of potential that could be driven and enjoyed as is or restored. As you can see in the photos, the car was very poorly repainted at somepoint early on. There is a bit of rust in a few places but it is not bad. The frame rails all look good, trunk floor looks good, but the driver floor pan has a small hole, as does the passenger inner fender. There is also some rust in the quarters and driver rocker panel. Over all though, it is not bad for a 54 year old car.
The auction is for the car as/is where is.
