I buy & sell Classic cars as a hobby and this 1958 Plymouth Belvedere “Black Widow 2.0” would cost you six figure plus range to restore one of these car to this level.
This car is a frame off restoration from back in the 1990s. It is a beautiful six figure frame off restoration when it was done and still today looks fantastic.
One of the cool & best parts about this car it is a paint code AA3 which this is the factory jet black paint color that came on this car back in 1958. I haven’t did the research on the car to find out if this is the matching numbers engine to the car, but most likely it is. We have applied for the build card from Chrysler to confirm.
The paint on this car is the straightest and best looking paint job I have seen on any of the 57-58 Plymouths I have owned. My Painter friend that owned abody shop estimates the cost of this body & paint job at $40,000. I would rate the paint on this car a 9/9.5 out of 10. If you’re really interested in his car fly in the St. Louis and you can look at yourself and you be your own judge.
