Low-Miles 1951 Plymouth Cranbrook Sedan with Options

Just 45K orig. mi. Registered & insured; a weekly driver.

This was Plymouth’s top-line series, and carried an impressive 10 factory or dealer options -- including fog lights and spotlight. Subsequent owners installed nine more period accessories.

Operated in Pennsylvania until a hobbyist in RI undertook a mechanical refurbishment in 1999. A friend of his finished the job circa 2009 and won prizes at local car shows. Starting around 2016, it was an occasional driver. I bought it in Fall 2021 with just 42,000 miles on the clock.

All glass is good. VG chrome and exhaust; serviceable bias-ply WWW. Front brakes & m/cyl. were replaced six months ago. Newer battery & cables. VG clutch. Drive it any distance! Spare, jack, tire chains, dress-up items are in trunk. I’ve added a seat belt and fire extinguisher.

Minor dimple in back bumper; that’s it for damage. Orig. Brunswick Blue paint has faded. Body has only surface rust; no significant rust elsewhere, incld. underneath. Heater works, as do all instruments; radio is N/F.

Interior is Good to VG. Driver’s seat upholstery & foam pad are coming apart, but still usable. Front mat is split at driver’s heel area -- the usual for a 74-yo car.

A very solid, complete, and dependable vehicle – it’s used as backup for my minivan!
