Vehicle Description

For sale: 1964 Plymouth Valiant Signet 200 convertible. Mild Resto-mod. Showing 57k believed to be original miles. Original chrome and stainless. Interior and manual convertible top are believed to be original too. The car is mechanically and electrically 100%. I had my 74-year-old Mopar mechanic go over it bumper to bumper to ensure all features and lights work as they should. The worst part of body is some minor paint bubbling above the left rear wheel well, at the gas door, and some rippling in an area on the hood. Undercoating has preserved all floors well and the car is solid and is virtually rust free. The original slant 6 was replaced with a 340 decades ago. This is 1 of 280ish factory 4 speeds produced. Has 8 ¾ rear with a 489 carrier and a 4:10 posi. 2 1/2” exhaust sounds great with the vintage fenderwell headers. New heavy duty leaf springs and PST torsion bars recently installed giving the car a great stance and ride. The vintage pinstriping may have been done decades ago and adds a nice touch. This car is an absolute blast to drive and get tons of looks. I’ve owned the car about 6 years now and I’m only selling it to open-up garage space. Brochures and books come with the car. No trades, bartering or offers considered or responded to. High bidder is the winner and must follow specified guidelines for down payment, balance and pickup.
