1966 Plymouth Belvedere w/440 4bbl. 4 speed & Dana 60, 4 dr.

Vehicle Description
This is a 1966 Plymouth Belvedere four-door sedan. It was formally powered by a 225 slant six motor and it had a three speed (on the tree) transmission, and a small differential. And also had all Drum brakes. The special nature of this car was that it is a survivor with the original paint, interior, headliner, dash, trunk, Jack, instrumentation, glass & trim. It is also a totally rust, free car top and bottom. It was owned by an elderly couple who had it since new in Tennessee. At the time that the engine transmission and rear differential were replaced, the car had only 25,000 original miles on it. It now still only has 47,000 original miles. The car is also rare because it was ordered without a radio and has no external antenna and it features a plate over the radio opening. There has been some significant changes. This car is the full embodiment of a sleeper automobile. It is very fast, fun to drive, and stunningly nice looking. But with the manual steering, the four speed trans and the monster motor upfront along with manual disc brakes, this is not for the faint hearted. I’ve had a few people interested who would like to add power steering, an automatic transmission, and other refinements. That would be up to the buyer. The car is being sold as you see it.
