Vehicle Description

Super cool west coast station wagon!
This is an original west coast wagon, starting off in CA (Los Angeles is best we could tell) before making its way to the greater Seattle area in the early 80s. That is where she stayed until I brought her to Florida in 2018. According to the gentleman I purchased her from, I am the third owner.
While under his care, she was upgraded with the following:- SBC 350 with Turbo 350 transmission- Power steering- Power disc brakes up front using 69 Camaro parts. Drums are still out back- He installed Vintage Air’s first-ever AC setup. I’ve never run it, but it’s all there- One respray in mid-80s. That is also when he added his signature single, wide stripe
I added:- EFI using Edelbrock's Pro-Flo4 setup- Tanks Inc 24 gal tank with in-tank fuel pump- New fuel lines (on the supply side; used the factory lines for the return)- Polyurethane body mounts- Seat belts front and rear- New carpet
Recent work includes a new fuel pump, battery, and drain/flush of the fuel system. Replaced manifold gaskets on the passenger side; the driver's side was fine. And now she's running like a top.
The rest of the interior is original except the dash pad. That was replaced when the car was resprayed.
I would not hesitate to drive this anywhere, provided enough time is budgeted, as she does not have overdrive. So, ideal highway cruise speed is 65mph. In fact, she has made at least 2 dozen 500-mile round trips from Tampa to Miami without any hiccups at all.
If you are looking for an honest, solid wagon to either drive as is, upgrade as you go, or restore, then this is a great candidate. I would love to hold on to her, but space and time are not my friends, and I need to pass her along to her next caretaker.
I have tons of pics that I can share as well. The last pic in the listing is a collage of her warts. Outside of those areas, and the spare tire well, there is no rot or rust (outside surface on the frame) anywhere else on this car. Note that I never drove her in the rain and outside of those crazy trips to Miami in 2022, she has only been used for short trips a few times a week. Mileage is unknown but the odometer does work! So does the clock!!
Please ask as many questions as you need to be comfortable with your purchase. I would not want a buyer to be surprised in any way so i am willing to answer as many questions as needed. No, she isn't a show car, but she is a solid and reliable driver that can be enjoyed as is or taken in whatever direction the next caretaker wishes. More than happy to assist with buyer's shipper.
