1957 Chevy Belair Convertible, Ragtop Like 1955 1956

Vehicle Description

Up for sale is a 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air convertible project. This car was harbor blue from the factory. It still wears its original Vin tag and trim tag. The car has a clean title.This car needs a total restoration. What you see in the photos is what goes with the car and nothing more. The Floor and trunk pan is rusty. The rockers are rusted out. The convertible top frame is in usable condition. Car does not have any seats. Trunk lid is usable. Engine is an original 1957 Chevrolet 283 with two barrel carburetor. The engine turns over freely, but is not 100% complete. Missing exhaust manifolds and various unknown parts. This engine is a good rebuildable original 57 283.This car was a manual shift car but currently does not have a transmission. I have the front inner fenders and hooded fresh air vent/ducts that will go with the car.
The frame has been blasted and painted some years ago prior to my ownership. It is overall usable but does have a few areas that will require repair In the rear of the skid plates. This car needs a lot of work but is a good start for someone wanting to build a real 57 Chevy convertible.
