Vehicle Description

1951 Ford F1 · Truck · Driven 123,456 milesBeautiful '51 Ford F1 with a '69 Windsor 302 motor and C4 Trans. Upgraded Edelbrock intake manifold with 4 barrel Holley Carburetor. The motor is strong and it runs and drives well. There is a small slip going into 3rd gear. Manual steering and brakes. I've had the truck for 10 years and it's been kept in a temperature controlled garage. Body and frame are very clean so I believe it's been garaged most of its life. Running boards were replaced with fiberglass some time before me due to rust I'm guessing. It's titled as a '49, but the body is a '51 and is stamped on the firewall as being built in Chesterfield, OH in '51. It's possible the frame is a '49 but I could never find a serial number anywhere to verify that; otherwise it could have been mistitled as the wrong year. I use it for parades and driving it on nice days with the kids for ice cream. I've had dreams of fully restoring it, but don't have the time or money. Feel free to message with any other questions.
