1934 Ford M40 Deluxe Sedan for sale. This is the model driven in the film "The Highwaymen" by Kevin Costner. Also the last car Bonnie & Clyde ever drove because it was the fastest production car at that time. This car runs and stops well. Original aluminum headed Ford V-8 power plant mated to a 3-speed manual transmission. -good Coker Excelsior tires and tubes. -rebuilt original Stromberg 97 carb-good charging generator- rebuilt stock helmet distributor with new points, advance weights and dwell set, new interior spark plug caps and spark plugs- solid all-steel original car, no fiberglass- new safety laminated glass in windshield- all windows, including rear quarters, roll up and down (one cracked)- new sealed roof insert - complete interior and new upholstery with imitation mohair - new custom carpeting and fitted headliner- new chrome hubcaps with painted centers- original wood grain dash with tilt windshield- good emergency brake- working spare tire- steel solid floor pans with a few patches- new electrical terminal block with fuseThe car runs and drives as it should for a 1934 model. Speedo and gas gauge doesn't work. Ammeter does show charging generator. Headlights and horn need to be connected - were working before I added a new terminal block and am not sure which wire to hook now.
