Vehicle Description

Up for sale is a rare 1986 Pontiac Grand Prix Aerocoupe 2+2. One of 1225 ever made. I just found and bought this out of a barn where it sat for 23 years. I put a brand new battery in it and put in fresh gas and it fired right up and runs great. The 5.0 liter engine runs very well for sitting for so long. Just pump the gas 4 or 5 times and turn the key. Runs and drives great. This has 92,800 miles on it.This is a restoration project. The drivers front floor pan is rusted and needs to be replaced. There is some rust on the lower edges of the doors. Besides that there is no major rot or rust. The majority of the upper part of the car is in primer and was that way when I found it. All gauges work. All lights work with the exception of a few marker lights. The radio does not turn on. The interior is nice for its age and mileage. The headliner is hanging down which is very common with cars of this age. The passenger side power window does not roll down. It needs four new tires. The ones on the car all hold air but are dry rotted and have flat spots from sitting for 23 years. The trunk has no rust or rot. If you put four new tires on this car you could drive it as is.The drivers side grille is loose and will be placed in the car for transport so it isn't lost.Besides the bad tint job, the battery and the primer this car appears to be all original and not messed with. The interior is 100% factory original and untouched. It is missing the trim piece between the rear window and the trunk lid.UPDATE: I JUST HAD THIS PUT UP ON A LIFT AT MY NEIGHBORS HOUSE WHO HAS BEEN A MECHANIC FOR OVER 35 YEARS. HE LOOKED IT OVER VERY CLOSELY. THE ONLY RUST UNDERNEATH IS ON THE DRIVERS FLOOR PAN. EVERYTHING ELSE IS VERY SOLID. I TOOK 25 PICTURES OF THE UNDERCARRIAGE UP ON THE LIFT TO SHOW HOW RUST FREE THE UNDERNEATH IS. IF YOU WANT TO SEE THOSE PHOTOS PLEASE MESSAGE ME AND I WILL FORWARD THEM TO YOU.THERE IS NO TITLE FOR THIS CAR. YOU WILL BE PROVIDED WITH A BILL OF SALE ONLY.!! THE STATE OF MAINE DOES NOT ISSUE TITLES TO CARS THIS OLD. WE CAN REGISTER CARS IN MAINE WITH ONLY A BILL OF SALE. IF THIS IS A PROBLEM FOR YOU DO NOT BID. I AM NOT JUMPING THROUGH LEGAL HOOPS FOR YOU TO OBTAIN A TITLE IN YOUR STATE. BILL OF SALE ONLY!!This is the only Aerocoupe 2+2 available on ebay. The last one I saw listed on here was $9,000 and had a hard hit in the nose. The buyer is responsible for all shipping costs and arrangements. Ready to be driven up on a trailer and taken home. There are no warranties expressed or implied with this listing. It is sold as is, where is with a BILL OF SALE ONLY.A $500 deposit is required within 24 hours of the end of auction with the balance to be paid within 3 days.
