Vehicle Description
My son was the third vehicle owner when it was purchased in the early 1980s. The vehicle was sold back to the previous owner for his younger son. The vehicle was parked in 1986 until we purchased it again in 2006. After many hours of work, searching and replacing many of the parts, we put the car on the road in 2010. The total production in 1977 was 153,173, 6,719 were Hatchback Mach 1.The 302 engine is the original block..The cylinders were NOT bored.The engine has new pistons, valves, and roller rocker arms.The cam is an Edelbrock (.448/.472).The intake manifold is an Edelbrock topped off with a Holley 4-barrel 600 cfm carburetor (080457) .The 4-speed transmission was checked for wear and any issues.The front and rear bumpers are fiberglass.The front seats have been recovered. The rear seat is originalFrom the front to the rear, many items have been replaced during the restoration. Our receipts will go with the vehicle.The original heads, exhaust manifolds, intake manifold, and Ford distributor and air cleaner will go with the car.
