Up for grabs is an excellent example of a nice budget friendly, turn-key Chevelle. The 1970 model is known for being the most desirable year due to the dual headlights with the later model grille. With that being said, it is the perfect candidate to restore, resto-mod or daily drive as is.

The car is powered by an older 350 small block V8 that starts on the first crank, makes plenty of power and is nice and quiet. The Turbo 350 automatic works as it should and shifts through every gear smoothly. The car was recently serviced to ensure it can be reliable; the following items were performed:

• Oil / filter change

• Carburetor rebuild

• Engine mounts

• Valve cover gaskets

• Alternator belt

• Power steering belt

Cosmetically, this Chevelle is driver quality. She gets plenty of thumbs up driving down the road and compliments the gas pump but will not win any car shows. The car has been painted in silver with black SS stripes and has a nice shine but has various inconsistencies in the paint that can be seen up close in the photo gallery. The interior is in good shape as well with the exception of a few cracks on the dashboard which is fairly easy to replace. Equipped with a set of Dolphin gauges that are all working except for the tach & battery voltage meter.

All in all, this is an excellent entry point to get into a Chevelle and have plenty of options. Being a 1970, you can invest into it and be rest assured that your money will be there - the same cannot always be said for even a ‘69 or ‘71 model year. This is a running and driving project car that can be driven every day as-is or taken to the next level.
