1951 Chevrolet Belair, all original, resto or parts, some rust, engine cranks.

Vehicle Description
All original, has been in my family since 1963; had been sitting in a garage for 30 years in Connecticut. Bill of sale only, no title (CT does not issue titles for pre-1980's cars). It was moved to West Virginia one year ago. The car has many new parts: new tires and tubes on newly painted red wheels, fresh oil, Optimus red top 6-volt battery, spark plugs, spark plug wires, points, condenser, cap and rotor, fuel pump, muffler/tailpipe, hoses and fan belt. Engine cranks but doesn't fire. It is getting spark, but needs a carburetor rebuild/replacement, (leaking)and a water pump (leaking). Radiator is good. The original gas tank and fuel lines have been removed as well as all brake lines and hoses, and the master cylinder (all toast). Rust issues: the trunk floor is perfect and solid, except for a hole in the spare tire well. The gravel guard area is rusted through on both sides, as well as the inner rocker panels (which are all available for these cars). Outer rocker panels are good. The driver's side front floor rust has been cut out, and temporality patched with sheet metal. The front passenger floor is weak with one small hole visible. All glass is good, except for roll down windows in both doors are cracked. I am selling because I have found that it is too big a project for me. Also is for sale locally, so reserve the right to end listing early. I can assist with a local carrier to get it to a national carrier if needed. The car is currently located in a storage unit in Charleston WV.
