This 944 V8 was set up with the aluminum LS3, Not a heavy standard GM V8. Then, the drive train from the clutch to the gear box got built to stand the hsp/tq. Ground Control coil overs and Tarret adjustable camber plates, roll bars Custom FORGLINE 18’’ rims shod with Toyo’s with plenty of life remaining.
The interior does not even have a dash crack! Its been set up with a roll cage, harnesses, the stock belts work as well, a JVC audio system and a ‘scan gauge” monitoring system. This V8 conversion runs cool and is drivable! In fact, in its 5k miles since completion, it has better then 90% street miles and less the 10% track miles. This is a reliable track day weapon when in skilled hands!!
