Original Numbers Matching 324 & Hydromatic Transmission, North Carolina 1956 Oldsmobile Rocket 88. Garage find in 2012, where it was preserved in great condition since 1968. From 2012-2015 this car was restored and upagraded at Rutter's Rod Shop (Hickory, NC) which is digitally captured on the New owners of this custom shop Called Squid's Rod Shop! This Rocket is rare, as you don't see many in existance comparing them to other GM tri-power cars. What makes it one of a kind is the level of custom features inside and out and of course the powertrain upgrades by Dan Whisnent by adding the Ross Racing Aluminum Heads and the 30 over Cam. Well over 100K was spent making this Rocket an exceptional standout at car shows and cruise-ins! This Car would be a great addition to a collection or to an Oldmobile enthusiast that enjoys winning car shows.
