Car has been collector owned and garaged year round. Previous restoration done about 15-20 years ago with regular maintenance throughout. Recently had MOTOR REBUILT with EDELBROCK aluminum heads and professionally installed NEW convertible top.
Body and paint are fairlyNICE. Nice and straight with good quality paint. Minor blemishes like chips, scratches, touch-ups as you'd expect from being older but looks good and gets thumbs up anywhere including local car shows and cruise nights. NO RUST to speak of on outer panels. Body gaps are pretty good, Doors open and close good without sagging. Overall the car looks VERY GOOD for a driver. To be a show car it would need to be redone.
Interior looksGREAT.Everything shows well with no eye sores. NICE seats (rear ones have new covers), GOOD door panels, Good dash, GOOD carpet, NEW convertible top with glass back window.
Under the hood the 455 V8 roars at the turn of the key and performs great. No noises, great compression (11:1 I believe, runs best on premium gasoline) and a great performer. Upgraded aluminum intake, 750cfm carburetor, HEI distributor, headers and dual Flowmaster exhaust. Quite a bit of internal upgrades as well like mild camshaft, rods, pistons, etc from what I was told by previous owner. YOU CAN GET IN AND DRIVE THIS CAR.
Underside is pretty clean withSOLIDsubframe and frame rails (rear end has been slightly narrowed and gas tank shortened to fit in factory location). Floors appear VERY SOLID. Trunk SOLID as well.LOOK AT YOUTUBE VIDEO IN THE LINK
Please keep in mind that car is not perfect and will need a few minor things here and there. Brake pedal a little stiff at times, may need new booster. Could use a bulb or two replaced here and there. Convertible top disconnected (everything is there!), a/c missing parts under hood. Nothing serious, just typical classic car things.Don't expect a brand new honda!
Overall a NICE DRIVER QUALITY 69 Camaro Yenko 427 Tribute you can get in and drive. NOT perfect but very nice driver in my opinion (yours may vary).
