Vehicle Description

Hello, and thank you for viewing our auction on this unbelievably low mileage Oldsmobile!Wanted to give you the vehicle history and some additional information about the car.

The vehicle was sold new on April 1, 1983 in Pennsylvania to Mr. & Mrs. “F” of New Cumberland PA.The car was Mrs. F’s primary vehicle and in her seven years of ownership, she drove it 10,800 miles. The car was traded in on May 10, 1990 to Freysinger Motors in her home town in PA.The car was then wholesaled/sold to Parker Motors of Toccoa GA on May 12, 1990 with 10,853 miles on it.Parker Motors brought the car home to Toccoa GA where by the owner’s wife fell in love with it and told hubby to “bring that one home,” which he did (Happy Wife, Happy Life!)The car stayed in the basement garage of their home from 1990 until I purchased it in September 2024. The original title was signed over to the dealer, but never retitled making me the second official owner and title holder.

Upon bringing the car home, we flushed the fuel tank and lines, installed new NGK spark plugs, installed new Sylvania Xtra vision headlights as the originals were faint (original spark plugs and head lights in the trunk.)We did an overhaul on the Quadrajet carburetor to ensure smooth operation. A new battery was installed, front brake hoses and calipers were replaced, and new factory spec Milestar white wall radials were mounted on the original wheels, keeping the nostalgic look of the 80’s. Oil and filter changed along with the air filter.

A/C was not blowing ice cold, so R12 was evacuated, system was vacuumed, and new R134 freon replacement added, along with the proper oil for the new R134. It seems to have leaked down some since charging, so it probably needs the O-Rings replaced throughout the closed system.

As the car was in the basement, it took a few nicks and scratches from grandkids playing around it, and it might have served as a temporary picnic table once upon a time.Grandpa had a bad day and put a crease on the passenger side door backing out of the garage which we had professionally repaired with the correct OEM color matched light maple metallic paint. We also replaced the rear bumper fillers as they were cracking and disintegrating.

As can be seen in the videos, the original 12,000 mile Oldsmobile 307 engine starts and runs flawlessly with smooth acceleration, all be it no VVT-style acceleration here. Since purchasing, we have put about 500 miles on the car,and absolutely love the way it drives. The car draws lots of honks, looks, and whistles so be prepared to engage with the gawkers and talkers. However, I’ve got my eye on a really nice 96 Roadmaster Wagon, and can’t have both (Happy wife, Happy life!)So, BID OFTEN, BID HIGH, and BID TO BUY! Or BUY IT NOW!
