1967 Oldsmobile Cutlass - Sedan (78,825 Orig Miles with Orig Aspen Green Paint)

Vehicle Description
I am a classic automobile hunter/dealer. I find great cars and share them with the rest of the country. And what I have here today for your viewing pleasure is an all original 1967 Oldsmobile Cutlass Sedan. Possibly the Holiday trim I am unsure. Equipped with a 5.4L V8330 "Jetfire Rocket" Engine paired with a "Jetaway 2-speed automatic" transmission. She feels nice and responsive in the steering and handling. Perfect car for a nice long cruise on a beautiful day. She's been well-kept her entire life. I believe I am owner number 4 or 5? The first owner apparently kept the car the longest. I am unsure of the details. I purchased this beauty locally here in SW Pennsylvania. And the car supposedly originated from the area of Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania when new from the dealership.EXTERIOR:The vehicle does suffer from surface rust in many small areas. Mostly around the inner door bottoms and both front and rear windshields have spots. There's also a few chips and dings here and there. Windows, trunk and door rust is likely (using simple logic) due to having dried out seals. There was some repair done within the last 3 years somewhere along the side bottoms of the car. A part was removed then welded in place of it. I honestly cannot see where the patch is located? But maybe in the photos a keen eye can spot the area?Which is why the car is now two-toned because the lower part was painted grey with a white stripe separating the two. There is also a quarter sized hole in the ride side of the trunk north of the spring tower mounting point. I show this in the video. JB WELD makes a great product that could patch this easily. (Which I may just do it myself next time I'm visiting her. The entire trunk could use a good sanding, re-coating and buffing. I believe most of the damage was again caused by a faulty trunk seal coupled with having the trunk mat holding in the water. I am tossing the trunk mat it is NOT included. You can purchase a roll of original matting and cut it to size if you so prefer. Underbody looks great from what I could see. I did see it once on a lift before I made the purchase. Nothing major other than a small oil drip coming from the pan or rear main. So irrelevant in fact, that I left cardboard under the car in storage. The drip amounted to the size of a half dollar after 3 weeks. Drum brakes all around. Although rusty in appearance they function like NEW. The parking brake is functional and strong as well. Also included are the four original wheels as seen in the photo. They will be stowed in the trunk during delivery.INTERIOR:All original throughout. Yes there are seat tears. Only on the front bench. Sure you can spend the money and replace the vinyl. Or maybe have them repaired by a knowledgeable automotive reupholster shop. I'd reckon you would be fine just leaving them as/is or covering them with some universal bench seat covers. All seat belts work fine. If you even decide to use them that is. There is a noticeable "stain" on the left passenger seat bottom. Because it being winter and I am keeping her safely stored in a garage I have no way of steaming it. But to me it looks like it's possibly a water stain. Likely from someone leaving the window cracked at some point. There are some noticeable cracks on the dash pad above the gauge cluster. Which if you're handy can be patched with liquid vinyl and upholstery iron. And also there's a small crack at about the middle of the dash face plate (it's plastic). Which is typical of these cars being so old. The armrests could also use a good re-covering with some fresh black vinyl. And the chrome on the plastic parts is also worn. I've seen pricing to replace them for about $250-300 for all of them. Has a working dome and glovebox light. And the rear deck (postage/parcel shelf) also needs to be replaced. I found one for around $125-150. The headliner and visors are immaculate! The carpet is nice too. Maybe a bit faded or worn in normal areas. But all in all it has great tuft and rich black color. And the trim is mostly nice too. Judge for yourselves in the pictures.ELECTRICAL/MOTOR:Recently spent $500 on giving her a full tune-up. Plugs, wires, cap, points, timing, oil, battery...etc. Has a new radiator installed. She does hesitate to start sometimes. (But always starts!) So I believe this could be the starter wearing out. A performance starter would do fine for around $125-250!SWITCH FUNCTIONS:All major safety functions are working. ONLY EXCEPTION is the wipers mechanism. They do function but you have to manually tap the knob every time you want them to swing. Not sure what's going on there. But I was caught in the rain twice. Once time they stayed on the entire 25 minute trip and the last time during a short run they didn't work. Your guess is as good as mine. I am unsure about the sprayers? You can see them and there is a reservoir but I frankly don't even know how to operate them? The vent and defroster/heat controls seem to work fine. Although the 3 speed fan knob seems a bit "loose". Worn out from age I guess? AM Radio not functioning. Not sure about speakers either? I prefer to hear the car ;)IN CLOSING:Yes while she isn't "perfect" she looks excellent for her age and is worthy of any car show! And is sure to turn heads with the 18" (Ridler) wheels with (Kumho Ecsta) radial tires. With a little effort of a good buffer and some wax her luster can be brought back in a day. She doesn't have any strange creaks, squeals, rattles or pings. Sounds nice and looks nice going down the road. Take a hop back in time when things were simpler and some would even say more enjoyable.DISCLOSURE:Car sold AS/IS (no refunds obviously). Buyer IS responsible for transporting the vehicle. Vehicle is currently being kept in a climate controlled garage specifically for stowing vehicles and the like. Feel free to reach out to me for any questions or concerns. Thanks for viewing and good luck on your new puchase! (No reasonable offers will be refused.)
