I’m selling my 1965 Oldsmobile f85 4 door sedan, it has 42,xxx original miles. I’m the 4th owner, it was originally bought back east then lived most of its life in Arizona then central Ca. The car has virtually no rust, and is very solid. The paint is faded “ patina’d “ and looks to have been spotted in at one point on the passenger side, the doors are a slightly brighter blue than the rest of the car but do match the condition of the paint. It has brand new 14” Astro supreme wheels and tires installed, also has had the coils trimmed to lower it about an inch all around. It has a 330 V8 engine with a jetaway 2 speed trans with a “switch pitch” torque converter. The trans was pulled and resealed about a year ago. Just had a recent tune up done and added a brand new carburetor and electronic ignition. Everything works on the car, ( lights, wipers, heater, etc.. ) and runs incredibly strong and has been very reliable. I’ve driven it to work many times in the 100+ degree weather and it has never over heated on me, it cruises at 75mph no problem. It does have power steering but has manual brakes but does stop extremely well. I would have no problem driving this car cross country. One downfall of the car is the rear package tray and surrounding plastic trim around the rear window has gotten deteriorated due to the sun over the years, and the weather stripping on the doors has seen better days but those two are an easy fix.
