1985 Nissan 300ZX 2+2 Turbo

Vehicle Description

This is a rust free 1985 300ZX GLL Turbo (2+2) with a 5-speed manual transmission in Blue Mist Metallic (106) with 98,500 miles. I had always wanted a first generation 300ZX in my younger years, so I bought this one as a retirement project. The engine was removed and rebuilt, the heads and cams were inspected, and the valves were resurfaced with new oil seals. After the engine was rebuilt turbo parts from a donor Z-car were installed to give the car the performance of a modern car. Finally, the suspension, brakes, and interior work completed the 300ZX and it can now be driven anywhere reliably and with plenty of performance. The following has been replaced: -Full engine rebuild including .020” oversized. pistons, bearings, oil pump, water pump, timing belt, seals and gaskets -Installed all OEM turbo (T3) component from a donor 300ZX -Installed 3-core radiator -Front struts and shocks -All brake pads and rotors -All poly bushings, including the sub-frame -Updated A/C to R134a (A/C is ice cold) -Carpeting -Dash -And much, much more
After all the above was completed the 300ZX now runs and drives like the performance car it was designed to be. The car has been driven under 1000 miles since the engine was rebuilt, and it has an oil pressure of >30psi at an idle. The interior has minimal wear for its age and is in very good clean condition with no rips or tears. The steering wheel has some discoloration and minor wear. All accessories work as they did from the factory including the digital dash, climate control, radio w/ cassette and graphic equalizer. I’m running out of garage space and need to reduce my collection of cars. Come check it out and drive it home. Note: Paint color variations are due to lighting.
