1993 Nissan Safari also Nissan Patrol Diesel 4x4 Barn Doors

Vehicle Description
This awesome diesel Patrol / Safari is ready to daily drive. It starts right up, shifts flawlessly and runs strong. It’s a really great truck. If it weren’t necessary I wouldn’t sell it.
Disclosures
The roof has a dent from a tree branch, the rust is just from this last season, it buffs out and there are no leaks. Right rear passenger window sticks, the rear middle seatbelt is no good,no stereo, no pigtail.
History
You probably already know about the Y60, but if not; commonly sold as the Nissan Patrol, the same GRY60 model was available as the Safari in Japan. It was the first Japanese SUV with 4-corner coil-sprung live axle suspension and it was built to last forever.By introducing the first front three-link live axle and rear five-link live axle suspension on a Japanesepassenger vehicle, the Y60 redefined ride comfort for the class, on roads, rough terrain, and off road. Besting its competitors at Toyota and Mitsubishi, in the 1990s this motor and this truck were the King of Adventure.
I brought this amazing 4500lb 1993 Safari over from Japan in 2020. Its got a 4.2 liter inline-6 diesel motor(TD42) with a five-speed manual transmission that makes 125hp. At 165,000 miles it runs like a train. Its got a 24V electrical system with 2025 batteries, a dual range transfer case, auto-locking front axle hubs, rear limited-slip differential (LSD), lift kit, white paint, gray velour upholstery, 17″ alloy wheels, front & rear adjustable panhardrods, front and rear disc brakes, steel braided brake lines, Rancho performance steering dampener, Fox Racing 2.0 Perf. Series IFP smooth body shocks, a steel front bumper, sliding quarter windows, split front & rear air conditioning, power windows (rear right sticks) and door locks, and power mirrors. Highroof headliner is 9/10. AC is beyond powerful. The 4L position drives SO good.
Work Done
It has been used entirely for fun. I did the fuel-pump and firewall fuel line, the brake rebuilds, the brake lines, the shocks, the alternator, the vacuum pump and lines, the AC gas, the batteries, the brake fluid, the transmission fluid, the motor oil, the transmission gear oil, the differential oil, the radiator fluid and the reservoir, the fuel filter, the air filter and the oil filters, the windshield nozzles and wipers. I did not do the Yokohamas, because they are unrelentingly strong (immortal tires?) and have not seen speeds north of 40mph since the end of covid. That said, the truck will do 100mph. I’ve towed stuff around the property a little too. I undid the fancy Pioneer stereo. Its got a hard drive of some sort filled with the worst music possible, collectors item? The trailer wiring was a messy seven wire, but a good circuit, its all under the carpet.
Best Wishes
I really wish I could have finished it for you - if you drove one when you were younger… then you see where I was going. Add springs, tires, a little winch, a rack, extra lights, a fuel pre-heater and drier… and maybe never come back.
