This is a 1953 Nash Statesman Custom in the rare 2 door model. This car runs and drives excellent. Newer Firestone whitewall tires. Has had all fluids serviced and we installed a new water pump about a year ago. This Statesman gets driven locally on weekends and has been stored indoors most of its life. There is no rust or rust repairs evident. This is a very dry Nash which if you know the brand they tend to rust. Chrome and bright work shines with some pitting starting but shows very nicely. Car was painted once with a high quality paint job the original colors. Interior is original and immaculate. Glass is in fantastic condition. Car is a wonderful driver and shower. Original 173 L head engine with 3 speed manual on the column. Car runs cool and drives, steers, brakes properly and can be driven immediately with confidence. 2 door Nash vehicles of this era are extremely rare and the whole Pininfarina bumper car look sets this apart from your average 53 anything.
