Selling a rare 1989 Mitsubishi Montero with a hard to find 5 speed manual transmission. I purchased this Montero to restore but haven’t gotten around to working on it. The guy I purchased it from said that the motor started knocking and didn’t know if it was the valves or the bottom end of the engine so he parked it.  it was in his family since 1991. I haven’t worked on it to confirm anything. It does turn over and there are no signs of damage in the oil or radiator. I hooked a battery up and all light and blinkers work. Has original set of five oem aluminum wheels and the five American racing metal wheels that are on it currently. Needs rear passenger window. I took the distributor and ECM and a few other parts, but everything is pretty much there. This vehicle is sold as is for part of repair. Would make a great restoration project and they’re highly valuable when complete. Looks like it’s missing a few things here and there but nothing serious could be a simple fix. Asking $2499 for this Montero. Sold as is and buyer covers transport.
