1978 MGB, All Original With Air Conditioning, 32,600 miles EXCELLENT

Vehicle Description
This is a super clean, original, one owner 1978 MGB with 32,637 documented miles. I purchased it from an estate several months ago. The car was last driven/inspected 2008 with 32,618 miles as seen in the photo of the inspection sticker. The woman that owned it kept absolutely every receipt from new. I have everything in chronological order including the original sales receipt from the dealer, the original window sticker, glove box manual and more. See photo. The car was purchased in Texas in 78 and brought to PA in 82 where it was hardly driven through 2008. The mileage is original and documented by the inspection receipts. Dealer installed air conditioning when purchased new. It's still hooked up, blows air but I'm sure it needs charged. I've done extensive work on the car including: new rebuilt carb, restored wheels, new trim rings and MG wheel caps, new tires, complete front and rear brakes including new hoses and wheel cylinders, disassembled both seats and re-glued foams and installed new seat diaphragms, removed interior and cleaned floors, shampooed carpet, installed NOS Amco convertible top, remove and restored radio and main console, new turn signal and light switch, new wiper blades, restored wiper arms, new door waste seals on doors, replace sun visors, and more.
This MG has no rust and super solid clean floors and a clean undercarriage. No rust anywhere. It's the original Pagent Blue paint that does have some chips and touch up but looks excellent with great shine and patina. The trunk and engine compartment are clean as well. The car starts easily and runs great having 70lbs oil pressure and runs cool. The air pump has been disconnected to make the car run better. The engine compartment is completely unmolested and original. Electric fans are functional and an additional fan mounted on the front pulley for additional cooling for the air conditioning. Car shifts up and down in all gears as it should. All gauges and electrics work including the clock, door buzzer and courtesy light. The interior is near perfect with no rips or tears, has comfortable seats, original carpets, door panels and a perfect dashboard. Original jack, spare and boot rails included.
This is the most original rust free MGB I've ever seen, and it has air conditioning and complete historical documentation. I have a clean PA title in my name ready to transfer.
I describe all my items the best I can so there are no surprises. You are welcome to come inspect the car by appointment. I can be reached at 814-931-0627 with any questions. Please don't ask if the car can be driven a long distance as I've only test driven it in the neighborhood as there's no registration or insurance on it. I am willing to assist in shipping as long as all arrangements are made well in advance. There's a $500 non-refundable deposit required at the end of the auction. The car is known to be for sale locally and the auction will be cancelled with a local sale. Please do not bid if you have no intention of buying the car. This is an exceptional original survivor. I'm sure you won't be disappointed.
