Vehicle Description
Vehicle Original VIN : GHD5UE335278G• This vehicle is located at our Indianapolis facility - 2461 Reeves Rd #194, Plainfield, IN 46168 • GR Auto Gallery is pleased to present this handsome 1974 MG MGB GT. The MGB GT innovative hatchback design by Pininfarina gave the MGB a fresh look and filled a void with closed sports car enthusiasts. The basic design would also be embraced by many manufacturers for years to come. The MG BGT is powered by an 1800cc I4. Mated to a 4-speed manual transmission this MG rolls through the gears smoothly. This car starts right up and is truly a dream to drive with its fun and precise handling. It is finished in White and looks great. The chrome is also in excellent condition as well. The interior is neat and tidy throughout and shows well. This example spent the majority of its life in the New Mexico sun ensuring a clean rust-free body. Recent work and maintenance include a new radio, new door panels, new water pump, new alternator, new factory antenna, fresh windshield molding, and a factory rear hatch lift arm. MGB GTs capture the historic British obsession with sports car motoring; utilizing power to weight and exceptional handling to connect the driver with the machine. The sporty MG BGT filled a void in the MG lineup to give to its customers who wanted better handling and sleeker-looking vehicles compared to the convertibles. Roughly 4k of these were sent over to the US market and very clean and well-restored examples are very hard to find at an affordable price. Price does not include applicable tax, title, license, processing, and/or $199 documentation fees. To see over 80 photos of this car, including the undercarriage please visit our website br/-
