1958 MG MGA 1500 Roadster

Original 1489cc engine fitted with twin H4 typeSU Carburetorsproduced 68hp with a 4 speed manual transmission. 15″ wire wheels wear Vredestein Sprint Classic tires. A black softtop and side curtains are included along with a red tonneau cover. These components, as well as the trunk-mounted spare tire. The refurbished red leather interior features replacement carpets, a white-painted dashboard, a banjo-style steering wheel, and chrome-rimmed gauges.

Same owner for 40 years, full frame-off restoration was performed in 2005.

Since the restoration it has remained indoors and has been driven only sparingly.

The body and interior are extremely solid. Minor surface dent a centimeter wide on the rear passenger’s side panel. Minor scratch behind passenger side bumper below tail light. Minor wear/scratches around trunk lid. There is some chipping between driver’s side lower head light and hood where it meets the front bumper. All other exterior remains in great condition for a 14 year old restoration job. The interior remains in superb condition with no visible wear.
