1971 MGB GT 4-Speed Overdrive

All original, good looking and great running car. This summer the car was brought out of hibernation and the following parts were installed:

Heavy-duty Borg & Beck Clutch and Throw-out Bearing

Clutch Slave Cylinder and Clutch Master Cylinder and Lower Hose

Brake Master Cylinder, Rear Brake Cylinders (2) & Clips, Front Brake Calipers, Rotors, and Pads, Brake Hoses

New refurbished Front Shocks

Red Poly Front and Rear Suspension Bushings

Rear Suspension - Control Links & U-Bolts & Rear Brackets

Front Suspension – Torsion Bolts, Lower Arms, Bearings, Steering Rack Boots, Tie-rod Ends

Distributor with Petronix Electronic Ignition Module & Vacuum Advance

Petronix Flamethrower Ignition Coil

Cobalt Spark Plug Wires and Champion Plugs

Battery

Valve Cover Gasket and Poly Valve Cover Bushings

All Cooling System Hoses

All Fuel Hoses

Air Filters

Solid-State SU Fuel Pump

Full Carburetor Rebuild – gaskets, seals, springs,and jets.

Stainless Falcon Exhaust System – nice rumble but quiet.

Wheels are from an 80’s era Toyota, same size as original.

Some minor body rust. Overdrive non-operational, solenoid?

Great interior, floor mats and seats. Carpet needs to be replaced.

This car is a lot of fun to drive but life has stepped in and it needs a new driver who will complete the job or just drive it every day.

On Oct-16-17 at 15:43:48 PDT, seller added the following information:

Speedometer - needle spun off on a recent drive. Still tracks mileage. Tach works but is erratic at higher rpm.
Hood release latch weld broke. Coat hanger tool included for free! (and a new hood release cable)
