1950 Mercury Monterey Supercharger Restomod READ everything Please

Vehicle Description
I bought this 1950 Mercury custom off of a Navy surgeon who had had it since the early 80s as a stock driver. In 1996, he decided that it needed a refresh, so his friend convinced him to do it as a restomod. He took it to a shop (he didn’t remember the name of which BTW) and they did everything, the Nova front clip, the engine, tranny, rearend, interior, stereo system, paint and body, and all. In 2023, I bought it from him because he was elderly and could not do anything with it anymore. I purchased all of the supplies to refresh the frontend, and then had a baby. I have just been driving it to local shows every once in a while, but unfortunately, with the little second one, I just didn’t have the time for her. Like I said in the condition description, the car was pretty much perfect except for a cracked driver's door glassand a hole in the trunk carpet, until yesterday, when we were driving it to a show, and there was a short in the fuse panel, and it melted some of the wires at the fuse panel, and now it won't do anything. See the last photo for the damage. There is also a video of it starting just prior. I also have videos of it driving just prior as well, but I can only upload one video.
Power comes from a supercharged 5.0-liter V8 linked to an automatic transmission and a Ford 9” rear end, and the chassis has been modified with an independent front suspension, power steering, and front disc brakes. Exterior highlights include maroon metal flake paint with ghost flames in addition to a body-color grille, frenched taillights, dual exhaust outlets, and 15″ wheels. Interior appointments include Lincoln-sourced leather seats, Dakota Digital gauges, air conditioning, and an MMATS sound system. Faux lake pipes, a backup camera, fender skirts, and a Bluetooth-capable Pioneer CD head unit. The throttle position sensor, fuel injectors, weatherstripping, and tires are all new.
The 15″ steel wheels have 1956 Mercury hubcaps, and 235/75 whitewall tires were mounted. The frontend is a 1970 Chevrolet Nova-sourced front assembly with power steering and disc brakes and also has a dual-circuit master cylinder as well. The front and rear bench seats are trimmed in maroon leather. They are joined by color-coordinated door panel inserts and carpets, and a custom center console houses a Lokar shifter and holders. Air conditioning has been installed, and a back-up camera and a Bluetooth-capable Pioneer CD head unit and a Dakota Digital instrument cluster. There has only been a little oveer 2500 miles on the build, and I have put less then 30 miles on it since I have owned it.of which have been added under current ownership.
Fender skirts and other new parts will also accompany the car and are shown in the gallery.
PLEASE NOTE the damaged wire is shown in the photographs; the car ran and drove before that. I just don't have time to fix it.
