Vehicle Description

Has electric windows on all 4 windows, power assist for the top. When I bought it in 2012, someone had installed a cd player with the changer in the trunk and the controller in the glove box. I removed that, wanting to take it back to its original state. Had the heater core replaced a few years ago by a local mechanic who was working with me to bring everything back to original condition under the hood. Unfortunately, his wife developed cancer and we stopped working on it.It has the original dash and the woodgrain is showing signs of age. Clock doesn't work, but isstill there. Someone removed thedimmer switch from the floor board, but the 4 headlights are there. Also the AC is not connected, but everything is there. The window washer tank has ameltedMercury cap, but is there. I had the washer motor replaced as well as wipers.I replaced tires all around and had the brakes checked. No need to replace. It has power assist brakes. I have replaced the battery, had the carb and intake manifold soaked to clean them. Then the intake manifold has been repainted Ford blue. The carb was also rebuilt at that time. Also, when I bought it, they had three gauges mounted under the dash that only worked occasionally. They have been replaced by a two-gang - oil pressure and water temp.I replaced the regular oil with High Mileage/Older car oil and add Seafoam gas additive to the tank every other time I fill it. I've switched to using non-ethanol gas to keep it running well.As you can see by the attached Marti report, and by searching the VIN, it was originally Polar White with a black top and red interior. I bought it with the current color scheme - Maroon with a metal-flake and white top. Also, from the Marti report this car is 1 of 2 that were made in this configuration.I have new window motors for each window, plus many other parts (oil filters, PCV valves, etc.) that will come with the car.
