Vehicle Original VIN : 9CM281327This 49 Mercury is a classic build with a chopped top, 350 Chevy engine, Turbo Hydra-Matic 400 automatic transmission, and independent front suspension. The steering has been converted to a new Flaming River power rack and pinion setup and it has a Ford rear end on a lowered suspension w/rear air shocks. On the exterior it sports dual Mercury spotlights, shaved handles, Frenched in headlights and taillights, and a recessed antenna. Along with whitewall tires, front custom spinner look hub caps, full rear skirts and a few more subtle upgrades, this Mercury has the classis look every Mercury should have. On the interior there is a front split bench and custom interior with a nostalgic clean look. All new Auto-Meter gauges, under dash lights a new stereo and a working CB and 12 volt electric system. The car is wired and plumbed for Vintage Air and just needs the compressor.The car has been owned by an older couple for the last 42 years. The car is very clean with no visible rust.
