THE CONDITION OF THE ENGINEIS CURRENTLY UNKNOWN .FIVE YEARS AGO,I DID HEAR ITRUN, AND IT HAD NO ISSUES.IT WAS ORIGINALLY EQUIPPEDWITH AN AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION,WHICH IS LONG GONE.
THE PERIOD CORRECT 260 V8APPEARS COMPLETE INCLUDINGTHE CARBURETOR,WITH THE METALMOTORCRAFT TAG STILL IN PLACE.THE POWER STEERING UNIT ALSOAPPEARS ORIGINAL AND COMPLETE.
AS YOU LOOK AT THE PICTURESOF THE BODY, YOU WILL SEETHAT IT IS MOSTLY DAMAGE FREE.IT HAS SOME REPAIRABLE RUST,IN THE USUAL PLACES,THISINCLUDES THE LEADING EDGEOF THE HOOD BEING THE WORST.
SOMEONE STARTED TO REPLACETHE DRIVERS FLOOR PAN.THE REST OF THE FLOOR AREAAPPEARS SOLID AND ORIGINAL.RECENTLY THE WINDSHIELDWAS DAMAGED BY A TREE LIMB.THE BETTER NEWS IS THAT WEHAVE A CLEAN PA.TITLE ANDTHE ORIGINAL MERCURY LOGO KEYS.
