1988 Merceds-Benz 300 SEL 4-Door Sedan with Sunroof

It would be a shame to send this beauty to the scrapyard! I’m the second owner of the car and have had it since 1996. This car has NEVER been in an accident. I’ve had it serviced a lot and kept it running for 20 years. But now it needs some work and I’m too old to take care of this wonderful car. It starts up but cannot be driven any distance. It will need to be towed or transported. The buyer will have to make those arrangements as I’ve never sold a car on ebay.
Please inspect the photos and assess the condition. There are a couple of spots of rust on the exterior and some dents (see photos). Front bumper coating is starting to flake. But overall the exterior is in good condition. Includes spare tire, jack and tools. All 4 tires are fairly new and in very good condition.
Interior is in excellent condition, but the leather on the driver’s seat is cracking a bit (see photo). Wood and dashboard look very good. All power windows work, as well as radio/cassette player. Air conditioner went out a while ago, but it seems that happens with older Mercedes. The odometer stopped and I had it replaced with a used one. So the mileage on the odometer is way too high. I figure there’s 150,000 miles on the car. I would only drive about 2,000 miles a year.
