Up for sale is my 1989 Mercedes-Benz 560SL, the final year of the legendary R107 roadster. This car has been extremely well cared for throughout its life, with just three long-term owners from new. I recently acquired it with the intent to resell, so while I am the current seller, this car effectively remains a three-owner history vehicle with excellent documentation and care.
Maintenance: $7,000 service completed within the past 1,000 miles. Comes with a large folder of maintenance records and the original window sticker.
Exterior: Factory-original Signal Red paint. Straight body, no rust, chrome and trim in excellent condition. A few very small dings, ranging from pencil eraser tip to dime size. Overall rated 9/10.
Soft Top: Perfect condition.
Hard Top: Nearly perfect, factory color-matched.
Interior: Black leather interior in 9.5/10 condition – no rips or tears. Original Mercedes mats included. Dash, wood trim, and gauges all excellent.
Mechanical: Strong 5.6L V8, smooth-shifting automatic transmission. Starts easily, drives beautifully, tight steering, solid brakes, no leaks.

Comparable 1989 560SLs with lower mileage are trading in the $35k–$50k+ range on Bring a Trailer. Higher-mileage examples without records or recent service are often priced lower, but this example stands out for its originality, $7,000 in recent documented service, and clean two-owner history.
